Instadate Privacy Policy
Information We Collect
When you create an Instadate profile, we collect basic information you provide: your username, age, location (city-level), gender preferences, and profile photos. We do not require your real name, phone number, or address. During use, we log your browsing activity—which profiles you view and for how long—to facilitate manual discovery without algorithmic interference.
How We Use Your Information
Your data enables core platform functions: displaying your profile to other members, allowing you to browse others directly, and initiating conversations. We analyze aggregated usage patterns to improve interface clarity and member experience, but we do not create compatibility scores or automated match suggestions. Your information is never sold to third parties.
Data Storage and Security
We store profile data on encrypted servers with access limited to essential personnel. Messages between members are encrypted in transit and stored temporarily; they are automatically deleted after 90 days of inactivity. We implement standard security measures but cannot guarantee absolute protection against unauthorized access.
Third-Party Sharing
We share minimal data with service providers necessary for platform operation: hosting, payment processing (if applicable), and customer support. These partners are bound by confidentiality agreements. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect safety, but we will notify you unless legally prohibited.
Your Choices and Rights
You can edit or delete your profile information at any time through your account settings. To request account deletion, contact support; we will remove your data within 30 days, except where retention is legally mandated. You may opt out of promotional emails but not essential service notifications.
Policy Updates
We may update this policy periodically to reflect changes in our practices or legal requirements. We will notify you of material changes via email or platform announcement. Continued use after updates constitutes acceptance. This policy is effective as of January 1, 2026.
